Graduated from the Veterinary School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1999). Holder of a Master’s Degree in Animal Production Science, from the Agricultural School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2003). Doctor of the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2015).
He taught (independent teaching) at the Department of Agriculture of the International University of Greece, the Academic Year 2019-20, and as a laboratory assistant, at the School of Agricultural Technology TEI-Thessaloniki, the Academic Years 2001-02, 2002-03, 2007-08 and 2008-09.
He has published 7 articles in peer-reviewed international journals, 16 presentations in proceedings of scientific conferences and participated as an invited speaker in 5 scientific conferences and workshops.
He participated in 15 research projects on animal production, organic animal husbandry, aromatic plants and pastures.
From August 2009 until January 2022, he served in the General Directorate of Quality Assurance of Agricultural Products of Hellenic Agricultural Organisation – DIMITRA (ELGO DIMITRA), as an inspector-auditor and from March 2021 as General Director.
In December 2021 he was elected Assistant Professor at the Department of Animal Production Science of the University of Thessaly and in July 2022 he joined the academic staff of the Department.
