Particular importance is given to the application of methods of regulation of the estrous cycle, to the techniques of artificial insemination in different species and to the analysis of reproductive indices in farm animals. The research interests of the laboratory staff focus on endocrinology of reproduction and developmental embryology.  The laboratory collaborates in the framework of research programs with other laboratories of the Department, as well as with the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Thessaly.
